Testimonials
Since Cris took charge of my fitness training, he has brought about a shift in my perspective, overturning training methods I once believed were absolutely correct and introducing new concepts. Over the past seven years, he has helped me reach new heights in my physical condition and maintain it over the long term. He is not just my fitness coach but also my best friend. He encourages me to stay focused and improve, overcome challenges, keep learning, and find motivation. Regardless of whether my career is going well or facing difficulties, he has always been there to support me. He is the best fitness coach I have ever met, but he is so much more than just a coach.
The first time i met and worked with cris was before the world championships 2018, we were preparing for the world championships at that time and the coach told us that there was a new fitness coach for me to work with in training, at that time i was reluctant to change the fitness coach before an important competition, i was worried about how it would affect my performance and the results of the competition so i decided to make the change after the competition and of course cris expressed great Of course cris was very understanding and it showed here that Chris understands the psychology of athletes very well.
Working with him has been an important part of my career. We tried new training program that I've never done before. He always observes my performance on court before making plan, make sure it is ’made for me’. He showed me how to combine science and training. Taught me sometimes, training more ≠ good, less is more. I always have many questions about training, and he can give me the answer every time. To me, he is a coach, a friend, a teacher. I am very grateful to him for his help! Wish him well!
I started working with Cristian Luque in 2018 and continued our partnership through the Tokyo Olympic cycle. Cris helped me win my first high-level championship title in my career and also guided me to become World No. 1 and an Olympic champion. I find Cris’s training methods to be highly engaging and diverse, which not only helped me improve but also brought me great joy in the process. I will always look forward to our next collaboration and wish him a bright future ahead.
Working with Cristian Luque during the Tokyo Olympic cycle was an incredible experience that had a profound impact on my performance. His expertise in physical training, combined with his understanding of an athlete's mental and emotional needs, truly made a difference in my journey. Cris knew how to push me to my limits in a way that felt both challenging and supportive, helping me become not only stronger physically but also more resilient mentally. His dedication to his craft and his genuine care for his athletes are qualities that make him an exceptional coach. I will always be thankful for the positive influence he had on me, both as an athlete and as a person.
